4 Weds., March 5,12,19,26 6-8 pm This introductory session will be a four week duration with classes being held four consecutive Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 class duration two hours beginning at 6:00 P.M. This class is designed to introduce the beginner to the art of tarot reading and to assist you with the development of your Intuitive self as well as increase your knowledge of the Tarot Cards in an open, communicative and inspirational environment. All Tarot enthusiasts are welcome. Introduction to Tarot with Beverly Beverly is both teacher and student; specializing in sharing with others what she has learned and received from Spirit in Tarot, Meditation and Numerology. She began metaphysical studies over 30 years ago and fell in love with the tarot shortly thereafter. She has been reading professionally for the past three years and continues to have a love affair with the cards. Beverly believes everyone can read tarot or any system of divination with just a little help and assistance. Most just need to be “shown” what to look for. “Tarot is the picture of the Soul’s dance inside itself”. Embark on this journey as you explore your life and the choices, gifts, and challenges that lie before you. Join this class and allow me to share with you the secrets and wisdom of the cards. We begin by looking at the Major Arcana of the 78 card deck. The Major Arcana consists of twenty-two cards which together map out the various stages in a person’s life. This Intuitive Tarot Class is fun and inspirational. For this class it is recommended you have/purchase the Rider-Waite tarot. This is the most widely used deck in America and easy to find. The Rider-Waite is an easy deck to learn; the messages are easy for the seeker\'s eyes to see. Once you can read one deck you can move on to any other deck you like. Saturday MARCH 8 - 10 am to 5:30 If you are looking for the next logical step on your Reiki Journey, we invite you to join us on the path of Karuna Reiki! “Karuna” is a Sanskrit word translated to mean; any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others or… “compassionate action.” This is not an ordinary kind of compassion, but one that comes from an unbounded sea of love. This is the kind of compassion that when combined with wisdom can take one to enlightenment. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, everyone benefits (because of the oneness of all beings). In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on earth. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings. Thus, your healing is quickened. The Karuna Reiki system was developed in 1995 by William Lee Rand and other healers at The International Center for Reiki Training. Only teachers who are registered by them can offer this training. You will receive an attunement, manual, and four sacred symbols. There will be time for practice so you can become familiar with this beautiful healing energy. Pre-requisite: Usui Reiki Level Three or Reiki Master Practitioner for at least 6 months (at Energy Connection or elsewhere). This will insure that your energy system is well adjusted and integrated with a higher vibration. Alternatively, if you received your training from The International Center for Reiki Training, your pre-requisite would be “A.R.T.” (Advanced Reiki Training Class) at least 6 months prior to taking this class. March 16 Sun 10 am to 5:30 The Animal Reiki course is designed for those who wish to expand their Reiki journey to include working with animals (both wild and domestic). People are not the only ones that can benefit from Reiki healing. Animals are very responsive to Reiki. In fact, in many cases, animals are even more responsive to Reiki because they do not have belief systems and rigid mindsets that people can have. Therefore, they can easily accept the Reiki energy for what it truly is...unconditional.
